IN THE KIT:
Batteries & Smart Lithium Charger
Two American made Nexus Battery Systems 5S2P 10Ah batteries, with optional 30Ah upgrade. Ovonic smart charger with dual charging, bench power supply capabilities, and multi-voltage charging. Comes pre-configured for our 5S Nexus batteries.
Ground Control Station
Any windows or android laptop, phone, or tablet for vehicle control and sensor data backhaul may be chosen. Clients may also choose from several joystick controllers to pair with their GCS. Clients may opt to use their own devices as well.
Field Repair Kit
Screw driver set and soldering iron for repairs in the field. Kits also include extra parts for gearbox repairs in the field. Replacement parts can be ordered at any time directly from us. Government agencies may choose to purchase access to our files for printing their own replacement parts in-house.
Kit Transport
Clients can choose from two transport options.
The Base Station layout with a Condition1 hard case.
Or our Dismounted Kit with the vehicle broken down and packed in an assault pack sized Watershed drybag.
Drivetrain
K9 Breacher comes standard with our TPU tires, but clients may upgrade to any of our other optional drop in drivetrain attachments. Drivetrains in development currently: tank tracks, amphibious screw drive, USV catamaran hull.
Cellular/SIM
If clients opt to upgrade to remote cellular/LTE control the kit will include an activated SIM card in the carrier of their choosing and the vehicle pre-configured for cellular controls. This option can be upgraded at any time after purchase.
Vision Sensors
Clients can choose between single camera or dual camera configuration. Sensor quality can be upgraded to mission requirements, ranging in options from low cost UVC webcams or FLIR Boson thermal models.
sUGV Vehicle
Vehicle will come assembled ready-to-operate as configured by the client. The entire vehicle can be disassembled and repaired with only a screwdriver. The vehicle is not rated for submersion.
USING THIS TOOL.
K9 Breacher is intended for situations where a controlled, ground-based approach provides a tactical advantage and where additional mobility, endurance, communication, or task-specific tooling is required. It is typically employed when a throwable system is insufficient due to distance, terrain, or the need to interact with the environment beyond observation alone. The platform supports mission-specific adaptation through servo-powered attachments mounted via Picatinny rails and a quick-connect interface. This allows Breacher to be configured for inspection, remote payload deployment, or controlled interaction tasks while keeping officers or operators at standoff distance.
Employment Examples:
-
Deliberate approach to a barricaded subject: Drive Breacher forward from cover to establish visual contact with a doorway or hallway, maintain observation, and use two-way audio for verbal commands or negotiation without advancing personnel.
-
Extended hallway or open-area movement: Use Breacher to cover longer interior distances where throwable systems lose effectiveness, stopping at intervals to check doorways, corners, and intersections before personnel movement.
-
Vehicle inspection: Drive Breacher under and around a vehicle to check for occupants, hazards, or suspicious items while maintaining safe standoff distance.
-
Exterior approach over uneven ground: Use 4WD mobility to move across gravel, dirt, curbs, or debris toward a structure, maintaining visual coverage during approach.
-
Attachment-supported inspection: Equip Breacher with a servo-powered attachment to illuminate, probe, or inspect areas that are difficult to view directly, such as behind cover, around corners, or through partially obstructed openings.
-
Non-lethal deterrent delivery: From a protected position, use our purpose-built attachment to deploy non-lethal deterrents or signaling devices at a controlled distance, allowing officers to influence behavior or disperse individuals while minimizing direct physical contact and reducing risk to both officers and agitators.
-
Standoff observation: Position Breacher with a clear line of sight on a primary avenue or point of interest and maintain eyes-on for extended periods, repositioning only to refresh angles or adjust coverage.
-
Post-entry security: After a structure is cleared, place Breacher to monitor hallways, stairwells, or secondary access points while personnel conduct follow-on tasks.
-
Route and obstacle assessment: Advance Breacher ahead of personnel to identify obstacles, unstable flooring, or debris that could affect movement or safety before committing officers or operators.
